Multiline merges are normally used to feed high speed sorters. Multiline usually range from 2 to 4 lanes merging into one lane. Typically this is accomplished using a merge table or angular merge (Sawtooth). Servo belts are used to brake, space and release maintaining a programmed gap between loads.

The Multiline merge is used when sorter rates exceed 160 loads per minute. The Multiline is used for maximum system throughput and efficiency when handling mixed load sizes and weights.
