The High Speed Wheel Sorter is simple in design and well-established affirming its effectiveness and utility in the manufacturing and distribution marketplace. Traveling at speeds of up to 300 FPM, this sorter is well suited for product with flat bottoms seen in many applications today. It can achieve divert rates of up to 80 per minute utilizing 30° akeaways. The Steerable Wheel Sorter is a design derivative of the High Speed Wheel Sorter that employs a gripper wheel design at each divert for ultra-quick positive diverting of the widely-varied product types as seen in the parcel industry.
The Modular Plastic Belt Sorter is designed for maximum flexibility and close placement of the divert- takeaway lanes. The product is applicable for a wide array of product sizes, shapes, weights, and surface features. The modular plastic belt is embedded with rollers that rotate at speeds in excess of the nominal forward motion speed of the conveyor. Divert mechanisms actuate the alternately embedded angled rollers to drive the product off the mainline onto a takeaway. This sorter is applicable for many types of products at divert rates of up to 120 per minute
