Dematic Systems' highest throughput sorter is the Whispersort sliding shoe sorter. The robust Whispersort provides reliable, hi-speed sortation of large and small cases at speeds up to 600 feet per minute. Being of modular construction, Whispersort can be installed in virtually any facility with speed and ease.

Should business requirements change this sorter can be disassembled and set up in an alternate location and configuration in a short timeframe. Due to its inherent controls programming and self-updating characteristics, electric divert switches can be added or deleted without the necessity of modifying the sorter tracking program.

Whispersort can be factory configured with either 20° or 30° in right-hand, left-hand or dual-sided diverting. Single sided divert configurations are easily field updated to dual sided applications.

The Whispersort shoe sorter is designed to handle a wide variety of products including cartons, totes, and packages. This sorter is particularly useful for gentle handling where fragile products come into play. It can sort at divert rates up to 230 per minute traveling at speeds of up to 600 FPM. Whispersort is also configurable for dual-sided sort applications and with divert designs set for either 20° or 30° angles.
